Q: A LOT OF BRANDS CLAIM TO BE “NATURAL” …HOW IS INNA ORGANIC DIFFERENT? 

A: “Above all, we want to build a brand that everyone can trust. To that end, we were the first brand in Taiwan to achieve independent organic certification by the Environmental Working Group (EWG). Inna Organic has since earned dual certification from EWG and Europe’s Cosmetic and Organic Standard (COSMOS). This dual certification comes with rigorous standards and numerous restrictions which do slow down the speed of our new product development.”  

But it’s more important for us to take the time to uphold the high quality of our products and to stand by our environmental principles than to hop on passing trends. Because we want customers to be totally confident in the safety of our products, Inna Organic is also 100% vegetarian, cruelty-free, and formulated without parabens, silicones, sulfates (SLS/SLES) and artificial fragrances. We’re also dedicated to organic and eco-sourced ingredients because of their low environmental impact. Also, I personally believe once you start using organic or clean beauty products, you tend to care more about the environment, about things like excess packaging, straws, takeaway boxes—and you begin to change your lifestyle for a better world.”

Q: JIMMY—IS YOUR PACKAGING SUSTAINABLE? 

A: “Absolutely. Our packaging is sustainable, safe and toxin-free. We use glue-free, custom paper boxes. Many skincare brands shrink-wrap their products in PVC (Polyvinyl Chloride), which can release known pollutants that not only contaminate the environment but also damage human health. We wrap our boxes in compostable cellophane instead using the same low-temperature, toxin-free process used in food processing.”
